Founded in 2012, our sports program started from a grass roots movement within the community. Today, our program consists of only volunteer members, including Coach Percy Pearson, parents, youth athletes, other community coaches and many more valued members of The Rose Park and surrounding area communities.

Our mission is to improve the personal health and development of all our athletes by increasing their participation in a competitive sport. While the RPSA welcome any and all, we specifically focused on underprivileged and at-risk youth within our community. We strive to be a consistent source of empowerment, skill building and positive reinforcement for all our past and current athletes through Case management services.

We bring awareness around the risks and hardships that our young athletes face on a daily basis. Many of them derive from homeless shelters, single-parent homes, low-socioeconomic living situations, foster care and protective service. Because of this; many of our young members have the inability to be involved in consistent, high-quality sports programs.

The Rose Park Sports Association takes pride in providing the mentorship, resources and encouragement that many of these youth need.

We are and will always be FAMILY!
